Building on last year's Extra Large Housing Estate Award, the Silverlawn community has once again been recognised for its outstanding dedication, this time receiving the prestigious Community Spirit Award at the 2026 Navan Municipal District Pride of Place Awards!
Silverlawn continues to thrive as a vibrant, welcoming, and inclusive estate that residents are truly proud to call home. Year after year, the community comes together to make a real difference.
Over the past year, residents have invested countless volunteer hours in transforming and maintaining their neighbourhood.
Their efforts have included:
- community clean-up days
- ongoing enhancements to the flower bank
- planting new trees and seasonal flowers
- expanding the thriving community vegetable gardens
- organising community events and activities for all ages
- placing hanging baskets around Silverlawn estate
- fostering neighbourly connections and a strong community spirit
This collective commitment has continued to dramatically improve the appearance of the estate and has further strengthened the sense of pride, belonging, and stewardship among residents of all ages.
Well done to every resident who contributed — Silverlawn is a shining example of what a community can achieve when it comes together!
