Navan Municipal District, Pride of Place Awards Ceremony 2024 celebrated exceptional community efforts and achievements and this year's event was particularly exciting with Silverlawn winning in the Best Newcomers category for the first time ever!
Silverlawn community is recognized with the Best Newcomers award for their outstanding first-time efforts in transforming their neighbourhood.
Previously known for its challenges with occasional antisocial behaviour, the estate has blossomed into a place of pride and renewal.
Residents in conjunction with the Committee made great efforts throughout the year to maintain the estate to a high standard by regular clean up days, the continued improvements to the flower bank, the planting of apple trees and repurpose areas into vibrant vegetable gardens.
This collective commitment has not only beautified the estate but also fostered a stronger sense of community and stewardship among residents.
